HRWorks provides workflows to handle employee offboarding.  This includes resignation submission by an employee and approval of the resignation by the employee's manager and the HR team in the organization.

Resignation submission

 As an employee, you can login to HRWorks and submit your resignation online. Please click the "Resignation Request" left menu under "About Me".

Submit the resignation request by filling in the form. Enter the date of the last working day (Requested date of leaving), select the reason for leaving and enter "remarks" if you wish to communicate anything, related to your resignation, to your organization. Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen to submit your resignation request.

Once you submit the resignation form, you can see that the resignation status is marked as "Submitted".

You can click the Edit" button at the bottom of the screen in order to change the details of your resignation request. For example, you can change the last working date by clicking then "Edit" button and then resubmit the resignation request.

Resignation Approval by the Manager

As soon as a resignation request is submitted by an employee, the manager of the employee receives an alert. The manager can then login to HRWorks and approve, reject, or return the resignation request. If you are the manager responsible for approving the request, you can find the "Resignation Requests" menu item under "My Teams".

You can accept, reject or return the resignation request. Also, you can modify the last working date for the employee and add any remarks. The remarks you (as the manager) enter will be seen by your HR team.

Once the manager approves the resignation request, the resignation status changes to "Manager Approved". The resignation request is then sent to HR  approval.

If you are an HR manager authorized to process resignation requests, you can approve or reject a resignation request after a manager approves the same. Click on the "Resignation Requests" menu under the "Employee" top menu.

You can accept or reject the resignation request. Also, you can modify the last working date for the employee and add any remarks. Once the HR manager clicks on the "Approve" button at the bottom, the resignation request is deemed to be accepted by the organization.
